Meyers Design Studio

Meyers Design Studio was founded by Jeff Meyers in April 2020 shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic began to affect the United States. After his freshmen year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison was cut short, Jeff was determined to stay positive and be proactive while in quarantine by pursuing his interests and developing new skills. He quickly learned the universal design software, Adobe Illustrator, and leveraged its capabilities to create a personalized, detail-oriented painting business. During the summer of 2020, Meyers Design Studio provided a local clientele of 35+ customers with graphic design and painting services. From logo creation and digital stenciling to decorated tables and cornhole boards, Meyers DS met every customer's need. If you could imagine it, Jeff could design and paint it. By the end of the summer, Meyers DS received and delivered custom orders of 10 cornhole sets, 5 tables, and 20+ printed stencils grossing over $4,000 in revenue. Today, Meyers DS is no longer accepting orders but Jeff uses the platform as a portfolio while his interest in art and graphic design continues to grow. He is currently a junior at UW-Madison majoring in Consumer Behavior & Marketplace Studies and minoring in business and entrepreneurship.
