The primary mission of the Hungarian Dental Association is to help Hungarian dental science develop, keep high professional standards and convey international as well as national scientific knowledge.
Since the Hungarian Dental Association is the oldest Hungarian dental society, we strive to cherish the traditions that have been preserved in Hungarian dentistry just as much as we are open for new development.
The Hungarian Dental Association (HDA) represents Hungarian dentists in front of national and international decision-making bodies, in cooperation with the Dental Section of the Hungarian Medical Chamber, forming a National Committee for Hungarian Dentistry.
As the umbrella over eight affiliated societies, HDA is responsible for the cooperation of these. As the publisher of the only internationally acknowledged Hungarian dental journal, Stomatologia Hungarica, HDA is responsible for the continuing education and scientific training of dentists, which is further supported by the regular organisation of conferences.
