MVP is an investment firm focused on tactical macro. Launched in June 2021, MVP Fund is regulated by the Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA), and is domiciled in Labuan, Malaysia. We offer our investors a platform to preserve and grow their capital sustainably by capitalising on tactical macro themes to generate long-term outperformance over traditional value managers. The MVP Fund is a diversified, multi-asset portfolio of liquid securities. Our primary investment objective is delivering strong risk-adjusted return with low downside volatility and correlation to markets. We implement disciplined and repeatable investment process across liquid asset classes and strategies to profit from different business cycles and regimes, including periods of market uncertainty. The investment team develops ideas and trade horizons from a broad set of global macro themes, and uses qualitative and quantitative approach to validate these insights and guide our positioning and exposure across multi-asset classes. We aim for both short term and medium to long term positioning to deliver consistent performance during both stable and volatile markets. We adjust these allocations dynamically to boost return while reducing profit and loss volatility. Core positions will typically have longer term macro views to capture large dislocations, while short term positions thrive in higher volatility environments. Our investment team also practices robust risk management to ensure low realised downside volatility.
