mGEiA Is a mining-technical advisory start-up that offers independent professional consultancy services to mining companies, regulators, OEMs, mine developers and operators. Most recent work dealt with various matters including: • Supporting the management of mining research and innovation development programs; • Mitigation of headline geotechnical risks of mine projects and mine sites; • Geotechnical appraisals/ of underground mining methods, e.g. block caving, sub-level caving and stoping, cut-and-fill, narrow tabular, drift and fill, etc. • Reviews of geotechnical site characterisation and design of open pit mines; • Constraints and opportunities in trialling and deploying innovative technology solutions to mine sites; • Mentoring of young professionals and knowledge delivery, pro bono teaching at technical university.
