With the aim to provide the best of Prosthetic - Orthotic Education, the MGM Institute’s University Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Constituent unit of MGM Institute of Health Sciences (Deemed to be University u/s 3 of UGC Act, 1956) Navi Mumbai, was started in 2014. Since its establishment, the department aims to make the Divyangjan free of special challenges that they face and empowering them to lead a better quality life. This has been further enhanced by the approval for starting the Bachelors in Prosthetics and Orthotics, or the BPO Programme since the academic year 2016-17.
