Masters of Science in Health Care Administration (MHA) Program Texas Southern University

The Masters of Science in Health Care Administration (MHA) Program at Texas Southern University (TSU) is located in the Department of Pharmacy Administration and Administrative Health Sciences, which is one of three departments in the TSU College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS). TSU is categorized as a doctoral II university by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching Education. Texas Southern University is one of the largest historically black universities. The COPHS has affiliations with major health care and related organizations in Houston, which include hospitals, health systems, and community health centers. A MHA prepares you to make sound decisions using statistical, financial, and quantitative data; by preparing graduates to handle the daily operations, management, and business side of healthcare. Equipping individuals with the tools to understand the economy, regulations, finance, legal and social climates; thus guiding our graduates towards success through effective implementation as leaders promoting change and solvency in healthcare. Centrally located in Houston and less than four (4) miles from the Texas Medical Center, our program offers a unique collaborative environment that fosters academic and practicum success.
