To maintain a culture of compassion and to be a catalyst for financial support of Misericordia Health Centre’s vital role in meeting the evolving health-care needs of the community.
Our Role & Vision:
Thanks to an amazing community of supporters, we are able to raise funds to develop and enhance the many innovative health-care programs and services at Misericordia Health Centre (MHC).
Today, MHC represents the Future of Care as a centre for multiple programs and medical disciplines. It is home to three programs unique within the province: the Eye Care Centre of Excellence, Health Links – Info Santé and the Sleep Disorder Centre.
We are proud to help support exciting developments on the horizon, including the expansion of MHC’s continuum of care to include the Misericordia Assisted Living Centre: a 10-storey housing complex for older adults.
In everything we do at the MHC Foundation, we do it with our core values at the forefront: caring, respect and trust. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without all our incredible supporters –the many committed donors who give so generously makes our success possible.
We believe the Misericordia Health Centre continues to be a model for compassionate care just as it was when it was founded by the Misericordia Sisters in 1898. Together, we are leading the way and shaping the Future of Care.
