Tony Betts is the Managing Director of MHD Group Ltd and has been involved with the sealant industry for over 40 years. He has worked his way up learning the trade as a sealant applicator before forming and running MHD Group Ltd. Together with his wife Elaine, son Dean and daughter-in-law Victoria, the business is successfully run, priding itself on high standards of safety, quality and therefore repeat business through the reputation it has been building up throughout the years it has been trading.
The company was formed in 2001 when Tony saw a gap in the market for the Sealant application and rope access to be combined, alleviating the need for scaffold and other access solutions. All of the rope access technicians employed by MHD Group Ltd are IRATA qualified. The rope access technicians can also carry out non-sealant related tasks such as water test assistance, leak identification, façade cleaning and repairs.
