The ORL-department of the Hannover Medical School is internationally renowned for the world's largest cochlear implant programme for the care of hearing impaired and deaf patients. Therefore, one focus is on the field of hearing system care - from the development of the devices to the lifelong care of our patients. The German Hearing Centre Hannover (DHZ), together with the scientific laboratories of the ORL-department, represents the joint platform in this regard.
