Hoe wel het vaak een ‘ver van je bed show’ lijkt, heerst er ook in Nederland armoede. Uit de statistieken van het CBS blijkt dat er nog steeds 7,9% van alle huishoudens in Nederland leeft in armoede.
Mi Amigo biedt hulp bij het verzachten van armoede, met als doel het voorkomen van sociale uitsluiting. Dit willen we actief doen, we zetten daarom zelf projecten op als foundation. Dit wordt uitsluitend gedaan doormiddel van vrijwilligers, donaties en sponsoring. Wij vinden het ontzettend belangrijk dat elke donatie direct naar de projecten gaat, er worden dus geen kosten gemaakt die gefinancierd worden vanuit de stichting.
