“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” -- Malcolm X Most of the current generation of medical students may have the necessary text book knowledge but lack the training, thoughts, and abilities to build upon them. Being unable to write a research paper, incapability of public speaking, and bad English are just a few of the problems that face post graduates. MIA is a student organization which was founded, in 2013, in the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, aiming to creating a generation capable of building upon then teaching the knowledge they learned rather than just applying it, basically transforming Egyptian medical students from from silent learners to eager innovators. We do this using critical thinking workshops, campaigns, debates, presentations, and writing correct research papers. Our vision is to become a more expanded, qualified, and decisive organization with the same targets and values regarding training and education.
