Miami Physiotherapy (Falcon) was established in June 2006 by Shelley Sloper. Shelley opened a second clinic – our Miami Physiotherapy (Lakelands) clinic in 2017. Shelley continues to direct the practices with a team of 7 additional physiotherapists and two remedial massage therapists, ensuring we can offer more appointment options and guaranteed same-day appointments across both our locations. We are open from Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, and Saturdays from 8am til 12noon. We feel it is important that you understand your diagnosis (what the problem is), your prognosis (how long it will take to get better, and how much better) and are actively involved in your physiotherapy management to set and achieve your health goals. We will give you a treatment plan in writing so that you understand exactly what needs to done (by your therapist and yourself), how many treatments it is likely to take to reach your goal using the best treatment strategies that have been proven effective. Our team consists of 8 physiotherapists, a pilates instructor, remedial massage therapist, exercise physiologist, podiatrist, and dietician/nutritionist. This allows us to address your health needs holistically and give you the best chance of achieving ultimate health. We now offer pilates mat classes, reformer classes, physiotherapy lead physio rehab classes, hydrotherapy classes, small group gym classes and Tai Chi group classes as well as individual sessions as required.
