MICAM Limited is a leading European composite manufacturer. The company manufactures speciality high pressure laminates (HPL) and prepregs and designs and manufactures components, complete systems and assemblies based on these materials. Prepreg
MICAM develop customised prepreg solutions to match the material properties and processing requirements of our customers. We have impregnation capability for epoxy, silicone, melamine, phenolic and polyester resins onto a variety of reinforcement materials such as glass fabrics, carbon fibre, Kevlar, cotton and nylon. Our prepregs are used in a diverse range of applications such as electrical insulation, micro-electronics, anti-ballistic and construction applications.
Prepregs are fabrics, tissues or other reinforcement materials which are pre-impregnated with resin to form semi-cured products that are used for moulding of advanced composite parts and reinforced tubes.
Specialised Laminates
MICAM also produces specialised laminates developed to very close tolerance and supplied to manufacturers of precision devices.
Wall Lining Systems
MICAM manufactures a range of internal wall lining systems designed to meet the demands of the airport building environment and other public spaces. Manchester, Heathrow, Gatwick and Dublin airports use our high performance wall cladding systems in their buildings in compliance with ASIAD (Aviation Security In Airport Developments) requirements.
