The Michael Tynan Challenge was founded in 2016, with the aim to raise money for local medical research institutions in memory of the late Michael Tynan who sadly passed away earlier that year. We run four annual events including our coastal walk, drive day, race day and walk to work, which has raised over $1.5 million dollars for our beneficiaries.
The medical institutions we fundraise for are the University of Wollongong (UOW) medical research and the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO).
