Founded in March the 5th,1985 as the first scientific club in Algeria and it's been active since then as a student club within the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB).
Micro Club is a scientific student club and a nonprofit organization
that aims at popularizing computer science, IT and technology fields among the student community and extended to all those willing to learn and share their knowledge.
Hackathons, cybersecurity competitions, indie video game development industry, open-source technology and knowledge sharing, as a university scientific club and student organization we've got a wide spectrum of activities and topics covered up at Micro Club - USTHB.

- Local Hack Day (Presented by MLH & empowered bu GitHub and Microsoft, a 12h Hackathon with 3 events through the year)
- Red Hat Training Camp (Certified Red Had technologies training on virtualization, cloud services and cloud computing)
- Micro Club Capture The Flag (Cybersecurity event with conferences, workshops and CTF competition)
- Algeria Game Challenge (AGC - A National video games development competition)
