Micro4Biotech (M4B) Lab is a leading research group based in the Department of Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Environment (DBBE) at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro," operating under the guidance of Professors Gennaro Agrimi and Isabella Pisano. Specializing in industrial biotechnology, metabolic engineering, applied microbiology, and biocatalysis, our lab is dedicated to developing innovative processes and products rooted in circular bioeconomy principles.
M4B leverages state-of-the-art facilities, including fermentation platforms, chromatography equipment, flow cytometry, and advanced microbiology and spectroscopy tools, to support its mission.
