We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Microeconomix by Deloitte France. Microeconomix, based in Paris, is a leading independent consulting firm specializing in microeconomic analysis and econometrics. Founded in 2002, Microeconomix advises its clients on strategic issues and provides them with its economic applied to competition law (notification of merger operations, disputes relating to anticompetitive practices, etc.), damage evaluation (commercial litigation and arbitration) and sectoral regulation (energy, telecommunications, transports, etc.). This acquisition is the opportunity to combine the strengths of both organizations. This milestone will enable Microeconomix to accelerate its development by benefiting from the performance of Deloitte and from its global network as a leader in professional services in France and around the world. It will also contribute to the expansion of Deloitte’s expertise in Advisory activities. Our clients will be the primary beneficiaries of the increased capabilities, particularly in terms of economic analysis and modeling as well as in econometrics and data science. The acquisition results from a joint ambition based on shared values and a common vision: accuracy, excellence in service, cutting-edge expertise based on academic research, but also mutual respect and entrepreneurial spirit, to which Microeconomix and Deloitte are particularly attached. It is on the basis of this common vision and our key complementarities that we are combining our strengths. In particular, it reinforces our position in Forensic, Valuation and M&A within Financial Advisory, and in Strategy & Operations, Data Analytics and Regulatory within Consulting and Risk Advisory. Finally, Microeconomix will enable the deployment of innovative services to our public and private clients from Deloitte France and Deloitte Afrique.
