About Microwave Electronics Research Laboratory (MERLAB)

Welcome to the page of the Microwave Electronics Research Laboratory (MERLab), a laboratory affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis, University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia. MERLab is led by Prof. Ali Gharsallah and was officially founded in October 2018 under the code LR18ES43. Prior to MERLab’s establishment, the High-Frequency Electronics Circuit and System Research Unit (CSEHF) UR13ES37 had been steadily developing since its creation in 2005. This unit served as the foundation for the Microwave Electronics Research Laboratory (MERLab).
