Mid-Atlantic ProTel was established in 1996 by Carroll Butler in the Martinsburg mall. The newly established business started as a one-man operation primarily focusing on selling paging and mobile services. In October 2003, Carroll Butler retired from ProTel, leaving the companies operation to his son Bryan.
As an authorized AT&T retailer, ProTel has expanded across the four-state. The company currently averages more than a two hundred employees across the four state serviceable areas and a tenured staff averaging 20 years with the company. ProTel is now poised to dominate the Pittsburgh and Washington/Baltimore areas with 28 stores. Backed by AT&T’s stellar line of products, ProTel strives to create the best experience for their customers and employees alike.
