MIDP | Malaysian Institute for Development of Professionals (MIDP)

Malaysian Institute of Development for Professionals (MIDP) is a HRDF certified training provider which aims to facilitate the advancement of human capital in Malaysia by improving soft skills literacy. MIDP was founded in 2010, motivated by the passion to mainstream the culture and benefits of debating and public speaking in Malaysia. Appointed as the sole Advisor to the Malaysian Debate Council and engaged by the Ministry of Education to conduct a holistic reform on its largest national debating programme for the benefits of thousands of students across Malaysia. This great work led to the recognition of MIDP as the leading expert on debating and public speaking by the Ministry of Education in 2016. In 2018, this transformed into the passion for soft skills education where MIDP has expanded its expertise into various soft skills tools which includes storytelling, poetry, drama, hosting and many others. Today, MIDP is most known for its effective pedagogy and process in transforming students into oratory champions, youth leaders and compassionate communicators. We are also known worldwide as the host responsible for bringing the largest debating competition in the world to Malaysia. MIDP is a social enterprise recognised by MaGIC. Our student programmes are endorsed by the Ministry of Education, while our corporate programmes are certified by HRDF.
