When it comes to kitting and sourcing electronic components, we rely on an approved network of global suppliers and distributors or by using our purchasing power and going direct to manufacturers. With over 30 years of experience within the Midway Group of Companies in sourcing components, we know where to source quality parts at the best price. All products have complete traceability and for any tricky hard to source items, we come into our own. We will work closely with you to re-source, using our extended network of global independent component specialists, all used with customer authorisation and pre-approval. We can help you with alternative part suggestions and re-design if required to ensure your operation keeps moving and you can ship your product to your customer. Our kitting service will help you to realise costs savings, reduce your warehouse space requirements and improve your cash flow.
Our forte is product development. Building prototype products is demanding. Let us take care of your Alpha/Beta build kits, delivering the parts in the required quantities on the dates you need them. Your product development/NPI team can focus on the things that matter, whilst we deal with all the purchase orders, invoicing, packaging, labelling and delivery. During your concept design phase, we offer a ‘Design for Procurement’ service where we can use our technical procurement expertise to perform a full review of your BOM and advise parts and components that we would not advise to be ‘copied and pasted’ into a new design, specifically looking at long lead, obsolescence and cost drivers.
We also provide various procurement services such as supplier auditing, BOM health checks, obsolescence, low-cost sourcing and contract buying to help free up your valuable resources.
