From large scale commercial projects to residential replacement windows, auto glass repair and replacement and custom picture framing, customer service is at the heart of every Midwest Glass project. We take pride in showing our customers the “Midwest glass way” and seeing them come back time and time again. Midwest Glass had a modest start with one employee in a 2,400 square foot rental space in the spring of 1974. Today, Midwest Glass has more than 20 employees and operates out of a 20,000 square foot facility at 1333 Main Avenue South in Brookings, South Dakota. The company’s early focus was in commercial glazing, residential glass, and screen replacement. In the summer of 1977, automotive glass was added with the purchase of Dakota Windshield Service. 1985 saw the addition of residential replacement windows and doors. Since then, the product lines at Midwest Glass have expanded to include automatic entrance doors, hollow metal doors and frames, heavy custom glass showers, and all types of door hardware. Midwest Glass has evolved into a full-service center for automotive, residential, and commercial glass and related products with an emphasis on product quality, customer service, and value for your investment. The employees of Midwest Glass have more than 180 years combined experience in the glass business with 170 of those years accumulated at Midwest Glass. We are proud to have served the Brookings area for more than 40 years and look forward to continue doing so for many more years!
