We want families to be excited to sit down and play their piano and not be worried about piano sounding out of tune, having stuck keys, or any number of repair issues. Midwest Piano Services include: Piano Tuning We will tune your piano in about 2 hours. As part of the standard service, your piano will have a basic cleaning inside the piano, evaluate the piano for any needed repairs, and perform the tuning of the piano. For any individual minor repairs, these will be included in the basic service at no additional charge. For larger repairs / needed refurbishments, a time/cost estimate will be created for your review for a return visit. (see more info about Repairs below) Piano Cleaning (Deep Clean) For pianos needed more cleaning, we will perform a "Deep Clean" of the piano. This will include removing the insides of the piano (Action, Keys, etc) and performing a detailed cleaning under the keys, on the Plate/Soundboard, and Cabinet/Keys. Piano Repairs Due to age and usage, sometimes there are mechanical items that need repaired. Will perform repairs related to broken strings, misaligned keys, sticking keys, uneven keys, worn leather / cloth on action parts, misaligned hammers, worn hammers, broken pedals, and many other miscellaneous tasks to correct playing issues.
