MIEL DU LEVANT is the First Organic Honey in Lebanon (since 2012), certified at 0% of sucrose since 1999.
It is a pure and natural honey, free of any added sugar, harvested in Lebanon at an altitude from 0 to 2500m.
MIEL DU LEVANT offers three types of honey:
The Orange Honey: usually available in the spring. It is mainly found in the South of Lebanon at an altitude of 0 to 300m. It crystallizes naturally 5 months after its harvest and is commercialized in small quantities.
The Forest Honey: available throughout the year. The bees forage hundreds of flowers at an altitude of 300 to 1200m (thyme, honeydew…). Most of the flowers are endemic and essential for the production of certain medication; this is what makes our honey special.
The Thistle Honey: available throughout the year. It is found on the thistle flower that grows at an altitude between 2000 and 2600m on the Mount of Sannine and the heights of Tannourine. It crystallizes naturally 4 months after its harvest.
MIEL DU LEVANT is present at major exhibitions in Lebanon throughout the year (The Garden Show, Faraya Mzaar Summer Festival, The Cooking Festival, Achrafieh 2020…) and is mainly sold in pharmacies and organic stores in Lebanon.
