MiTe (Migrants in Tech) is dedicated to equipping refugees and migrants with valuable skills through AI-driven education, envisioning a future where they also thrive as leaders in the tech industry and also integrate well into the German society. Our Impact So Far: • Over 55 refugees successfully completed our IT career readiness program, gaining opportunities for tech sector interviews. • We've been recognized as a top 50 social impact idea globally by the GMW network. • We are establishing partnerships with leading German tech companies for job access. • Our trainers have advanced to become team leads and managers in their companies. • We’ve received support from government agencies and philanthropic organizations, validating the importance of our mission. Our Approach: • IT Career Readiness Program: Our intensive, AI-powered 6-week program equips refugees and migrants with the essential digital skills for IT careers. • Recognizing Transferable Skills: Refugees in Germany possess valuable, often overlooked skills; our knowledge graph system identifies and suggests them for suitable employment, benefiting refugees and mitigating Germany's skilled labor shortage. • Community Building: We recognize that integration extends beyond employment, thus we establish a digital learning environment mirroring real-world IT scenarios, fostering a support system to facilitate their thriving in a new work environment.
