About Migration & Asylum Project (MAP)
Migration & Asylum Project (MAP), an initiative of The Ara Trust, is India’s first and only law centre for refugees and the foremost advocate for forced migrants in the region. The organisation recognizes law as a powerful tool for analysis, advocacy, and policy development, and adopts it to pioneer innovative approaches for promoting safe migration in South Asia. In the last 10 years, MAP has pioneered several innovative programmes for forced migrants that range from legal empowerment campaigns to financial inclusion.
