The Mentorship Initiative for Indigenous Individuals and Planners of Colour is dedicated to dismantling barriers encountered by Indigenous and people of colour within the realm of planning. Our mission revolves around enhancing equitable participation, broadening access to networks, and catalyzing transformative change. Our aspiration is to contribute to a future where pivotal roles, essential for nurturing progress within our urban communities, are occupied by Indigenous individuals and people of colour. We hope to support our members become visionaries who'll bring forth invaluable life experiences that are instrumental in conscientiously shaping the well-being of each and every inhabitant of their city.
