My art is all about transcending the limits of thought and diving deep into the realm of energy. The same energy that the Sun radiates and that brings the life into its form. The same energy that keeps our heart beating and blood flowing. This invisible energy, called Prana, is vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive. In the 7 Chakras project I am showing you my personal interpretation of the world of Prana, through the visual form of the woman. Each painting is symbolising one of all 7 chakras* or energetic centres in our body. The pieces are my own representation of what i feel each chakra transmits through the aura and by the looks of a woman. Those paintings simply tell the story of how healthy and working spheres in our life can influence our glow and our abundance in life. Each painting has the corresponding colours to its chakra field energy as well as the symbols of the position and meaning of this energetic centre. *The Sanskrit word Chakra literally translates to wheel or disk. In yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. To visualize a chakra in the body, imagine a swirling wheel of energy where matter and consciousness meet.
