revolutionised prepared food production by creating an agile, scalable decentralised infrastructure of home kitchens to provide affordable, inclusive and equitable employment for disadvantaged groups.
SDG 12: Sustainable Production:
We optimize asset efficiency of the underutilized home kitchen to generate income, eliminate the need for new production facilities, minimize CO2 emissions & transportation costs.
SDG 8: Decent Work & Economic Growth:
We reduce the time for immigrants to achieve financial independence from nine years (EC, 2017) to six months. Our chefs are profitable from day one mirroring the national average income and can control their schedule & workload.
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities:
We transformed the image of immigrants from aid recipients to valued contributors by elevating ethnic food to a premium level by highlighting the chefs, thus transforming social demeanour from passive/active discrimination into celebration/admiration.
SDG 5: Gender Equality:
80% of our chefs are immigrant women, many from households with outdated gender roles. We are a proven, non-invasive platform for them to gain financial & psychological independence without disrupting the household.
