Mike Adamou Designs was originally set up in London in 1989. There it matured on a broad spectrum of design experience, including corporate identity, corporate and marketing communications, product support literature, packaging, financial reporting, and advertising, for some of Britain’s most prominent blue - chip clients. When we began, we planned a highly personal operation. Although both the scope and volume of our activities grew, our commitment to individual and personal attention for each client remained.
The deteriorating socio - economic climate in Britain directed the company to seek opportunities abroad. We recognised a current demand for design sophistication, particularly in visual communication in our home country.
In 1993, as part of this strategy, we launched M.A.D, a new design and advertising agency in Cyprus, which continues our philosophy.
Our work can be found in the corporate and financial communications, product literature, corporate identities and employee communications of some of Britain's, and now Cyprus’ most important corporations, as well as an array of overseas companies.
Because we are convinced that effective visual design is the result of clear intention, we put a great deal of emphasis on defining and isolating the business objectives of the material we produce.
