These stories provide a cost effective, empowering and compelling patient engagement tool that can impact the beliefs, attitudes, values, and behaviours of healthcare professionals. Mike has facilitated the creation of over 900 Digital Stories with a diverse cross-section of patients and families in the past 12 years, has a PhD. on the topic, and is an upcoming researcher in the field. Mike has also produced/directed two feature length documentaries, one short film, and two successful web series about different aspects of health and wellness. Additionally, he has directed/produced and/or consulted on numerous health education video projects across all types of illnesses and injuries.
