I LOVE RIDING! The first time I went mountain biking was on trails at Whistler in 2016. I was instantly hooked. We rented bikes that trip, and now I ride a Trek Session 9.9 downhill and a Trek Remedy for Enduro and Park. I've only tried racing a few times, and have mostly been working on my riding skills. My race history is limited because just after I got my bike I crashed two times in one race, but I didn't get last, so that is good! I really have spent a lot of time working on my skills. I have participated in Woodward West Mountain Bike Camp - 2017 and 2018; Ninja Mountain Bike Performance Day Camps; Whistler Summer Gravity Camp - 2019 and am excited to go back to Whistler SGC for TWO weeks this summer - July 2020. We are lucky to be in Southern California and have so many trails around us, from Snow Summit to the San Gabriel Mountains to the SoCal coast. I ride as often as I can and build upon my endurance and refine my skills.
When I have a dream, I don't ever give up (even if I am hurt)! That is just who I am. In April of 2009, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It has never slowed me down. I have participated in everything from flag football, baseball, surfing, snow skiing, snowboarding, jet skiing, motocross, wrestling and love to be outdoors fishing and hunting too. In 2016, when I found Downhill mountain bike riding, I knew this is where I belonged. I still surf and snow ski when the conditions are right, but my passion is riding.
