MiKK is the leading international non-profit organization in the field of cross-border family mediation. 🔸Since 2002 MiKK has been active in providing multi-lingual, free of charge support and advice for parents from all over the world as well as referrals to specialist, bi-lingual mediators in cases of cross-border family disputes, relocation and child abduction cases. In 2008 MiKK became an independent NGO. 🔸MiKK’s 190+specialized cross-border family mediators are based in 35+ countries mediating in 30+ languages. 🔸MiKK is active in promoting mediation in the EU and worldwide in the field of cross-border family disputes to safeguard the best h of the child. MiKK is active in advocacy and research in this field and regularly provides its expertise at stakeholder meetings and conferences at national, EU and international level. MiKK also regularly hosts workshops for judges, lawyers, ministries and embassies in the EU and internationally. 🔸MiKK is the leading international training institution in the field of cross-border family mediation (CBFM). Over the past 10 years MiKK has trained over 350 international mediators from the EU and worldwide. MiKKs 50-hour CBFM Training takes place annually in Berlin in both English and German.
