MIKRON MACHINING HELLAS is involved in the construction of mechanical/ electromechanical systems and precision machined components for defence systems, telecommunication casings and components for high-frequency microwave applications and mechanical parts for optoelectronic systems. MIKRON MACHINING HELLAS capabilities include the design and construction of production tooling such as moulds for injection parts, high pressure dies casting, gravity casting, forming and blanking tools for sheet metals parts and have experience working with a wide range of materials from aluminium alloys and stainless steel, titanium to plastics. Manufacturing Capabilities: • Design and manufacture of parts and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies according to customer specifications or customer drawings • Design and manufacture of special-purpose tools and fixtures, molds for plastic or aluminum or steel parts, forming and blanking tools, etc. • CNC machining centers up to 4-axes, some with High-Speed capabilities and CAD/ CAM programming • Dimensional control with 2 Coordinate Measuring Machines • Aluminum, steel, and Inox welding capabilities, using TIG or MIG machines • Surface treatment, • Aluminum (MIL-C-5541 TYPE I or II, Class 1A or 3) • Inox passivation (QQ-P-35), • steel black oxide, • chemical nickel, etc • Urethane type wet paint.
