MiLa Media is a New York-based production company focusing on the development and production of documentary and narrative feature films. By building a strong network of worldwide partnerships, MiLa Media strives to bring important stories to life. MiLa Media’s president and partner, Dr. David Milch, has a long history of supporting the arts through his foundation Ars Veritas and its mission to support “Arts for Social Impact.” Among many other projects, Dr. Milch produced Avi Nesher's award-sweeping feature film Past Life, which broke records as the longest-running number one film at the Israeli box office and which was distributed in the US by Samuel Goldwyn Films. Cinematographer and producer Tal Lazar serves as MiLa Media’s CEO and partner. Lazar has worked on numerous international box office successes, with Vietnam at the forefront. He has taught at the American Film Institute Conservatory, and in Fall 2018 brings his acclaimed cinematography course to Columbia University. MiLa Media welcomes new partners, ideas and projects.
