The Mildred Flora Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising and distributing funds to support local efforts to end human trafficking, homelessness, food scarcity, and addiction in Sacramento. Our heart is to see Sacramento called home. By our definition, lovingly borrowed from the words of Frederick Buechner, “To be really at home is to be really at peace, and there can be no real peace for any of us until there is some measure of real peace for all of us.” We are driven to see Sacramento become this kind of home for all.
We host premiere fashion and creative events to advance arts and culture in our city and to provide funding to expand the efforts of local nonprofits serving our neighbors in need. We have a variety of initiatives launching in the next 24 months, including the annual fashion show, clothing drive, creative forums, and the market.
