The core products of Milenia Biotec are called “HybriDetect” and allow users to develop their own point of care tests. Since the market introduction millions of Milenia HybriDetect test strips have been manufactured and used by various customer groups for test development projects. OEM partners have developed a series of diagnostic products, including medical products. The product has also been used worldwide by many research groups for a wide variety of, including the detection of bacteria and viruses, the identification of species and the identification of gene mutations. This resulted so far in the publication of more than 100 scientific papers citing the use of Milenia HybriDetect and this number is still growing. Our own team of employees and students are developing PCR kits based on Milenia HybriDetect, including kits for the detection of beer and juice spoilage bacteria and yeasts.
Milenia HybriDetect allows to develop immunoassays as well as molecular biology tests, including PCR, LAMP, RPA and CRISPR based tests.
Due to the simplicity and frequent use of Milenia HybriDetect, the products are always in stock for immediate, worldwide shipping.
Milenia Biotec also offers a lateral flow test for the detection of IL-6. This test is routinely used for the diagnosis of a neonatal sepsis and other inflammatory diseases. Our HIT Test can be used to exclude a Heparin induces Thrombocytopenia in patients who are treated with heparin for a prolonged time.
