MILIANI

Founded in 2010 by Nicolas Miliani, MILIANI is a 360° creative agency offering music publishing, strategic consulting, music supervision, artist management and media relations through a dedicated PR division focused on culture and art de vivre. The agency supports a wide range of artistic projects — from rock to jazz, including world music — with a clear emphasis on southern European and Mediterranean sounds. MILIANI is the music publisher of Rocío Márquez, the first Spanish artist ever awarded at the Victoires de la Musique (World Music category) in France, and handles press representation for other Iberian talents such as Rodrigo Cuevas, Silvia Pérez Cruz and Katia Guerrero. The agency also represents the music of the late Burkinabè artist Victor Démé for audiovisual use, as well as the acclaimed Catalan producer and composer Raül Refree. MILIANI oversaw music supervision for the feature film Les Rascals by Jimmy Laporal-Trésor, which premiered at the Deauville Film Festival in 2022 — a testament to its expertise in enhancing visual narratives through music. Deeply committed to traditional and vernacular music, MILIANI also maintains a long-standing connection to the blues, having produced Swedish musician Bror Gunnar Jansson. Recently, under its label activity, MILIANI released Chansons bachiques au Château du Clos de Vougeot, an album reviving the repertoire of the Cadets de Bourgogne, a celebrated male vocal group known for French drinking songs and original compositions. The recording took place in the historic wine cellar of the Château du Clos de Vougeot, in Burgundy. Its upcoming release will spotlight the legendary Bulgarian female vocal ensemble Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares, Grammy Award winner in 1989 and a symbol of vocal excellence and cultural heritage. On a personal note, Nicolas Miliani previously served as head of communications for the CSDEM (French Music Publishers’ Union) and is a voting member of the Victoires du Jazz.
