The Military Families programs is an initiative created by the Veterans Resource Group and Yellow Ribbons United. This joint project is designed with the goal of creating a unified community to create programs and resources for veterans and their families. This initiative is dedicated to creating and developing new strategies to work with the military community. Collaborations and partnerships are the fundamental building blocks to creating better services for this important community. Partnerships are a vital tool for us to accomplish our key goals. It is our belief that partnerships encourage innovation and collaboration between partners, help to further and foster better communities.
In the military support landscape, there is currently a need to create a collective platform that can provide resources that are easily accessible and readily available to a service member or their families. As most people would agree military families face many unique challenges, and that is why The Military Families Program seeks to create a framework for building a more coherent, comprehensive approach to supporting the well-being and readiness of military families.
