Mill on the Brue

Established in 1982 Mill on the Brue outdoor centre is set in 25 beautiful acres with the River Brue running through the land. Day and residential courses are available for most of the year including for schools, colleges and apprenticeship schemes. The centre has three main accommodation buildings consisting of 124 bunk bed beds and 10 visiting staff rooms. Additionally there's also a semi permeant campsite from May until late September for up to 70. In the summer holidays Mill on the Brue runs residential summer camps for children from around the world from 8 - 15 years old. Activities are varied from the more traditional such as canoeing, archery and climbing to team building tasks and also environmental learning. The centre prides itself on being one of the first companies in the Somerset to be award the Gold standard in the Green Tourism Business Scheme as well as winning numerous awards for environmental and sustainable practices. Many schools return each year some for decades. We are always looking for new and interesting ways to improve our customer experience.
