Millennium High School was founded by former principal Robert Rhodes and former assistant principal Danielle Salzberg in 2002 with a New Visions for Public Schools grant.
Millennium High School (MHS) is situated in Manhattan's financial district. Accredited by the New York State Education Department, MHS provides a rigorous liberal arts academic program, empowering students by setting and reaching goals and preparing graduates for a college of choice. MHS is culturally, economically, and racially diverse, with a large number of students who are first-generation Americans and who will be the first generation to attend college. MHS enrolls approximately 675 students.
