Millie's Bookshelf is a nonprofit organization based in San Diego, CA dedicated to ensuring that displaced people worldwide have access to adequate reading resources. Millie's hopes to serve as a beacon of hope for displaced individuals by providing: (1) access to information; (2) educational materials or programs; and (3) productive recreational activities.
It is our belief that the mind is the greatest resource and our core goal is to help millions of people find #RefugeInReading. We partner with local community organizations looking to procure textbooks, construct reading installations, and run reading programs in refugee camps around the world.
