The Millwright Regional Council (MRC) proudly represents twelve affiliated Local Unions of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) across Canada. Our membership consists of thousands of highly skilled professionals—women and men—who excel as progressive, cross-trained construction and maintenance experts. With exceptional capabilities in installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing precision machinery, UBC Millwrights are critical partners in a wide range of industries, including energy, automotive, aerospace, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and more. As the largest millwright organization in Canada, the MRC takes pride in its 144+ years of UBC history and remains committed to promoting fairness, family-sustaining wages, and comprehensive benefits for our members. We lead the way in training, educating, and preparing the next generation of millwright professionals. Our approach emphasizes not only technical expertise but also the development of effective communication and leadership skills to cultivate well-rounded professionals.
