MIMIC

MIMIC is an open source, self-hosted session replay framework that abstracts away the challenges of recording and replaying web application user sessions. It is tailored towards user experience improvement and debugging, and providing granular insights into application problems in a simple and intuitive manner. It uses a recording and replaying library, rrweb, and custom network interceptors to gather event data from the web application users interact with. This data is sent to the MIMIC backend for processing and storage and is then rendered to the MIMIC frontend dashboard. MIMIC is an ideal solution for smaller companies looking for a low cost, easy to implement session replay solution which provides complete data governance, customizability, and unrestricted usage to aid in debugging their frontend applications.
