Mind Mirror Therapy is a private mental health practice created by Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Michael Argus (he/him).
Michael is passionate about supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing. Michael takes an evidence-based, person-centred and strengths approach to his work and uses a range of therapies to suit his client’s preferences and needs including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Michael’s experience is largely in supporting people who have experienced sexual abuse, family violence, trauma, anxiety and depression. He has experience in working with both young people and adults.
Prior to his counselling career, Michael was employed as a disability support worker and was a senior consultant in the disability, accessibility and inclusion sector. Michael is passionate about providing accessible and culturally safe spaces for the people he works with.
