About mindful OD practice
With thirty years of experience as an internal organizational development change leader and consultant, I have developed a deep strategic and operational foundation for being helpful with instilling a culture of collaboration. There is one common thread that is axial to my work history – I am passionate about making a difference while upholding the human experience. The last stay of my journey as a consultant and leader lasted 12 years in a mid-size global manufacturing company. I had the responsibility of transforming the culture of the organization from a top-down orientation to a collaborative one and achieved change success. My domain of expertise includes: • Clarifying Sense of Direction – Working with senior leadership teams to define/clarify vision, mission, and values and what it will take to bring collaborative values to life. • Innovative Learning and Nurturing Talent – Curriculum design, development, and delivery for full suite of leadership and people skills development to a global audience. Build and implement talent development strategy and initiatives including competency models, development planning, and execution. • Leadership Coaching – Enable current and future leaders to be authentic and inspiring. Act as a trusted sounding board and advisor with emphasis on deepened self-awareness and other awareness for enhanced leadership effectiveness. • Ongoing Culture Alignment – Conduct culture and engagement surveys, feedback, recognizing strengths and areas that need attention, action planning, and follow-through. Communicating metrics and keeping degree of alignment achieved within focus. Organizational environments will continue to face unprecedented challenges particularly in areas of (i) talent retention/growth and (ii) need for effective responsiveness to emerging demands. A culture of collaboration is the most suitable approach to tackle these challenges – an area where I have the passion, competency, and lived experience to be most helpful.
