MINER'S GEMS is a high-end specialty retailer of Fine Jewelry and Exotic gemstones headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, with 9 locations in tourist related towns of Southeast Alaska; dotted along the famed Inside Passage and 4 stores in St.Thomas, US Virgin Islands, 3 Stores on the Las Vegas Strip and 1 Store in Bar Harbor, Maine. We create custom one of a kind pieces for our exotic gemstones, which makes up a large percentage of our line. In the coming years, we plan to add more retail outlets to the growing tourist oriented business in Southeast Alaska and Caribbean. MINER'S GEMS opened its first Alaska location in Ketchikan, Alaska in the year 2000 and since then we have managed to open up 17 retail outlets of fine jewelry and exotic gemstones in just 10 years. And, with the reputation of carrying some of the most unique and exquisite designs it gives us an edge by making these designs available in multiple locations. Apart from being a high-end retailer, we are also involved in in-house designing and manufacturing of fine jewelry for our retail outlets. Certainly, we have grown as a company but in order for a company to grow it needs people who can keep the company moving, which mean strong team players. We have had people working for us for a time period that spans anywhere from 5 months to 10 years. We have had fresh graduates/inexperienced, GIA Graduates and Experienced people in our team who have worked with us and grown as a professional.
