Our Focus is primarily mining searches and mining investigations. We also provide a range of other services including inorganic chemical contamination reports and other environmental services in a range of packages, both individually and as add on bundles to cover a variety of needs. We can also arrange the emergency and permanent securing of mine shafts and a wide selection of mining features.
Our specialism is regional mining activity both modern and historic in it's entirety. Our library is extremely comprehensive consisting of local geology, archaeological reports, mining history and mining engineering. Our digital archive contains nearly 50,000 digital images of historic and current mapping, aerial photography, mining abandonment plans, cross sections and copies of material from private archives. The relevant data is carefully selected and processed using the latest Geographical Information Software (GIS) and overlain onto the current Ordnance Survey maps. We are highly qualified and able to produce the very best in mining reports, undertake mining investigations via drilling and trenching, as well as reporting on contaminant toxicology and the ecological impact of works.
