Minitap

Compact – Robust – Safe Minitap was designed by utility services contractors to provide a compact, robust and efficient hot tapping solution for water, gas, and related utility services applications. Most commercially available machines are designed to be used in environments where sufficient workspace is available next to and surrounding the targeted connection points. Due to the number of utility services currently installed in typical underground verge applications, it is becoming increasingly difficult to position a hot tapping machine in small excavations filled with other services. Minitap was designed to fit into and be able to work in a 1m2 area from the target connection point. This unique design was awarded patents in both Australia and the United States of America, and the design has been registered in the United Kingdom and Europe.
