Minnesota Brownfields encourages the voluntary investigation, cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated land; in effect, "land recycling" in Minnesota through our Education and Research programs, and via partnerships with other organizations involved in land recycling.
Minnesota Brownfields' overall goal is to facilitate the rate and quantity of contaminated land and sites that can be reused and redeveloped in support of social, environmental, and economic goals at the neighborhood, community and regional level.
